| 1st April 2006 saw 'The Devonian' run from Taunton to Plymouth and return with the 'dynamic duo' 45407 & 76079. Fortunatly the weather on Saturday was lovely with pleasent sunshine all day until dusk which was a different story to previous 2 days before the trip and on the Sunday where terrential rain showers made prepping the engines interesting to say the least.
Fortunately there were no 'mis-haps' either and a good trip was had by all and the sunshine over the Devon Coast and countryside made it worth all the effort and it was great too see plenty of people out and about looking at the engines. |
