Saturday 29th October 2005 saw the last steam test of the recently returned boiler before further restoration continues. Earlier steam tests during the week saw 850's boiler brought up steadily to certain pressure points but today was the first time the safety valves were lifted at maximum pressure. The next time the boiler will be lit up will be when its resting in the frames.
