| Sunday 16th October 2005 saw the long awaited return to Eastleigh of Lord Nelsons newly overhauled boiler.
The smokebox had to be toatally replaced so a new smokebox was made whilst the boiler underwent major repairs. The boiler was loaded onto the wagon for further steam testing and the re-fitting of the various boiler components over the coming few months. |
