| After watching the Rugby League final in Cardiff on Saturday 27th, I then drove up to York to meet up with a couple of friends and have a trip behind 45407 on the Settle & Carlisle line and what a great time I had despite the lack of sleep!
It was great to meet some of the other guys too and great to see a beautiful line as well. This was my first trip over the S&C and hopefully not my last either. Most of the pics were taken on the way up to Carlisle. On Monday we left york just after 6am to return 45407 back to the North Yorkshire Moors where it is running the Whitby shuttles before venturing up to Scotland on Friday.
