| The Cambrian season got underway with the 1st week starting on 28th July and running for the next 5 weeks. Motive power as per normal was Standard 4 76079.
As per usual a great week was had even though the weather was questionable culminating in a major thunder storm on the Tuesday afternoon which made the trip back to Machynlleth an interesting experience with visability at Barmouth reduced to around 20 feet. Trips were made from Machynlleth to Porthmadog on Monday's, Tuesday's & Thursday's while steam returned to Pwllheli on Wednesday 30th July with further trains also on Friday's for the first time in 20 years. |
