31st March 2007 saw the re-arranged Trafalgar Express hauled from Minehead to Eastleigh by 850 Lord Nelson. This trip marked 850's first mainline charter for sum 20 years.

After reaching Eastleigh, 850 was placed in Eastleigh diesel depot in readiness for its move to Old Oak Common 2 days later.

Company at last! After Gary Hall went back to Taunton, Dad joined me Sunday afternoon to keep a check on things with me. All that was required was to keep the fire going in readiness for Mondays move to OOC along with abit of oiling up.
