| The Autumn Steam Gala contained no fewer than 12 steam locomotives from 3 of the 4 main steam companies of yester year.
Star attractions of the gala were 850 "Lord Nelson" making its first real major public appearence and 6024 "King Edward I" Trains seemed to be busy the whole time and great fun was had by changing the head boards on 850 for each trip to give the 'photters' and different picture everytime. Thanks must also go to Humphrey, Jesse, Ian & Colin for organising the cab ride on 88 which was great fun! Also to Paul & Jason for allowing me to have an interesting view around the signalbox at Minehead. |
